Job description

TELUS International AI (“TIAI”) is seeking participants to purchase or imitate purchases from provided websites and evaluate their shopping experience to help us improve online purchasing for all internet users according to the guidelines provided.

The contributors will be asked to Share feedback after evaluating an online service. You will be required to fill in questionnaires providing detailed feedback about the entire user experience.  

TIAI will provide virtual cards to the workers to pay for the purchases made within this project

Responsibilities: 

  • Shop at pre-selected online retailers and collect a range of detailed data
  • Responsible for completing data collection in a timely manner with error free execution
  • Use G Suite tools to capture and annotate collected data
  • Attendance and participation in training sessions as required
  • Communicate regularly with team for calibration and alignment
  • Manage emails in multiple accounts
  • Preferred availability to work: 2- 8 hours per week

Location: San Diego County, California (San Diego-Chula Vista-Carlsbad, CA)

Expected Project Start date: April 2025

Workload: up to 2- 8 hours per week

Expected Project Duration: April 7 – June 27

Estimated time to complete the task: 20 minutes per task

Compensation

  • 22 USD per hour
  • Estimated workload: 3 tasks per hour, each task takes 20 minutes to complete,
  • Payment will be made for completed and approved tasks which will be performed according to the task guidelines
  • This is an independent contractor opportunity.
  • Payment will be processed via AI Community portal- Hyperwallet

Qualification path

  • 18+ years of age
  • 8- 12 months minimum data collection and data review experience
  • Fluent in English with excellent analytical and verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and make progress on multiple tasks at once
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • High degree of experience with online shopping and a regular online shopper
  • Moderate level of expertise with G Suite/Microsoft applications (basic formulas, filtering, etc.)
  • Secure location at home to store and receive/return packages during business hours
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Background check required
  • Home equipment needed: Printer, Smartphone (iPhone or Android). Internet connection (high-speed, private), personal desktop or laptop computer
