About the job

As a customer service representative, you’ll assist customers via email, social media, and phone, providing friendly assistance, solving problems, and answering inquiries. No experience yet? No worries! Before you start, you’ll receive comprehensive coaching and training, ensuring you can effectively address customer queries.

While you’ll primarily communicate with customers in Italian, you’ll mainly interact with your international colleagues in English. Therefore, it’s important that you also speak English proficiently.

Training and work schedule

From your first day, you’ll participate in an intensive, fully paid training to ensure you know exactly how to assist customers. This training typically occurs during working hours. Following the training, you will work in shifts (Monday to Sunday, between 08:00 and 19:00) for a total of 40 hours per week. You will receive your work schedule a few weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your free time and fully enjoy your time in Portugal!

Destination

The magical allure of Porto

Did you know that the historic centre of Porto is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site? It’s no wonder that the city was chosen as the ‘European Best Destination for a city break’ in 2017: Portugal’s gem never ceases to amaze! Its authentic architectural styles and brightly colored tiles make it one of the most picturesque spots in Europe. Additionally, the Portuguese embrace the good life, which is well-reflected in Porto. Fantastic wine, fresh fish, local delicacies: every dish you taste is a delight. And here’s another plus: it’s a relatively inexpensive city, so you get great value for your money. What are you waiting for? The city of sun, culture, and food awaits you for an incredible adventure!

What do you get?

  • You'll earn a gross monthly income of €1,583.33. This consists of your base salary of €1,100 per month, paid out 14 times a year. Additionally, you'll receive several fixed bonuses: a monthly language bonus of €100, a monthly skill adder bonus of €100, and a monthly attendance bonus of €100.
  • In addition, you have the opportunity to earn a performance bonus of up to €120 per month.
  • If you are moving from outside of Portugal, your flight ticket will be reimbursed up to €700 in economy class.
  • Upon your arrival in Porto, you will receive a paid stay in a hotel for 28 days if you are moving from outside of Portugal. If you are moving from within Portugal, you will receive a stay of 15 days.
  • After completing your training, you'll receive a meal allowance of €6 for each working day.
  • You will be provided with health insurance.
  • A fully paid training.
  • 22 vacation days per year, plus 14 national holidays. If you have to work on a national Portuguese holiday, you'll receive a compensatory day off.
