Job description

We are now looking for team members to join our team as an Airline Sales, Ticketing, and Reservations Representative. This position is based at the Malta International Airport and the operating hours are Monday to Sunday 24/7. One will be rostered on a five day week.

Responsibilities.


  • Proactively promote and sell routes, fares, and services by telephone, email, face-to-face, and other communication channels.
  • Create reservations, and arrange ticketing and fare collection as directed.
  • Rebook tickets, execute the necessary changes as required and resolve booking problems.
  • Sell ancillaries including merchandise, seats, pet in cabin, gift vouchers, UMNR, and Business Class Upgrades that might be applicable.
  • Liaise with all outstations and support with all ticketing and any other issues on all flights available. Support outstations during check-in and before the aircraft leaves from outstations.
  • Quote, book, support and handle ministerial and presidential bookings.
  • Handle and assist booking requests received from all passengers requesting assistance on medical travel.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by solving any problems faced and handling all complaints promptly.
  • Daily reconciliation of credit cards, cash, and invoices including paperwork sent to accounting/banking sections.
  • Compile regular and ad-hoc reports ensuring these are completed accurately and within the stipulated timeframes.
  • Remain informed of all airline rules and regulations and current affairs. Communicate information to clients accurately and appropriately.
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.


Requirements


  • Experience in airline sales and services (Travel Agency, Airline Customer care etc)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Skilled user of MS Office packages & GDS System
  • Ability to work under stress, whilst exhibiting a high degree of productivity
  • You need to be exceptionally organized and a problem solver.
  • Ability to work independently
