We are looking for
A meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our client's financial transactions, reporting, and compliance of several group entities.
The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable/receivable, assisting the Senior Accountant in preparing financial statements, conducting month-end closings, and ensuring accuracy in financial records.
The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of accounting principles, experience with accounting software, and excellent analytical skills. This role supports the company’s financial health, providing insights for informed decision-making and ensuring compliance with regulations.
What you’ll do
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and summaries in accordance with local regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and cash transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews.
- Prepare and file VAT returns and other regulatory filings as required.
- Coordinate with external auditors and assist in audit processes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures and automate workflows.
- Participate in other ad-hoc tasks and projects as required to support team objectives and organizational goals.
The ideal candidate should have
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar, ACCA or relevant certification is considered an asset.
- 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
How you’ll work

- Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
